Here is my report of one month in India. Under the invitation of Rev Ruth Vasu and Christians for Christ, I had the joy of going to India and minister to literally thousands. Our party consisted of three; Ruth Vasu, Anne Arra and myself. Ruth Vasu took her healing ministry and Christians for Christ. She is working to unite all those who want to take India for Christ. She has made up a book consisting of the State, Districts and even Mandels (similar to Counties). As Pastors are covering a particular area, their name is posted to that area. As areas show up unassigned the Bible Students are asked to cover that area. She is working hard to see to it that every area is covered in the Kingdom work. Anne Arra took the teachings of the Fruit of The Spirit, �What Heaven Is and Isn�t� and The Virtuous Woman. She was joyously received and when the power of the Holy Spirit came over her, many were slain when she just brushed out her hand in a sweeping motion. From such a delicate voice came power from on high. Never would I imagine that she would have a booming voice but God showed up and moved her out of the way. Ruth Vasu introduced me as the Bread Lady of Tulsa. I became known as The Bread Lady of India. This time is wasn't thousands of loaves of bread that we received from Feed the Children as it was from the warehouse on Charles Page Blvd. This time it was from the storehouse of the Lord. I took the Bread of Life - Jesus Christ to feed His children. I brought the Fresh Start Series to empower the people of whom they are in Christ and who He is in them. Giving them the Fresh Start series that helped them to become fully free and living a life without bondage. Thank you to Pastor Steve Peterson from Omaha Nebraska for this wonderful teaching. Years ago while truck driving my husband used to refer to me as the International Hugger; I never dreamed that those words would come true. The Lord told me my arms were His and to hug them and love them to Him. This made an impact on the people. I had a chance to just love them to the Kingdom. While we were gone for those 30 days, my husband Richard was at the camp keeping the home fires burning and helping our family. We visited the churches in the area, attended mini crusades of evangelism and taught in the newly opened International Victory Bible Institute (I.V.B.I.). We went house to house with the Bible Students and prayed for many people, watching those who did not serve our God turn and confess Jesus as Lord. We counted in two weeks 67 new souls for Christ, about 120 gave their total allegiance to Jesus Christ as the healings took place. Well some just made me cry for the joy that was shared. Typhoid fever, blind eyes to see, legs and backs healed, headaches gone and marriages restored. We actually trained the Bible Students to do what they were taught to do. We encouraged them to lay hands on the people and to pray for them. We had them lead many to Christ. We told them we didn�t come to do their job but to lift them up, encourage them and empower them to do what they had already learned. WOW - to be a part of it all was so overwhelming. We truly are CO - LABORERS with God. Concerning I.V.B.I.: I would like to say prior to India I, like many people, did not have a great appreciation of this wonderful institute. I myself have never attended it. Upon meeting the Bible Students for the first time, each one would stand, introduce themselves and say I am a student of I.V.B.I. This is what Bible School has done for me. As each one spoke I started to realize the great work being done in these people. Being taught to understand God's word has changed these people to want to serve God with all their being. Now I would like to see I.V.B.I. available to people everywhere around the world so that they can know what these people know. I wish all Americans would have the same zeal as I saw in these simple but loving people. We prayed for the ladies in the leper colony and were humbled to hear they were all believers in Christ and their house was The House of prayer for their village. Many would go to them with their prayer requests. How marvelous and great is our God? I had the privilege to do a Pastors and Leaders Conference. Here God inspired the leaders of India to be willing to obey God as ruler rather than men. In India, young widows are not allowed to remarry. When showing God's word on the matter, all were willing to take the challenge to teach God's word instead of following man's tradition. They asked me to share this message in many places. Satan is a liar that tries to keep man in bondage and he is defeated by the word of God. There is VICTORY in JESUS! There was only one day in which we encountered the possibility of danger. That was the day we were in the newspaper with a comment that said...�They came to preach the Gospel�. This was the day after a Minister's Conference. Though we did do that very thing, we were there as tourists. We had planned to only speak at the Bible School and partnering Churches. This particular Church was out side the fellowship of the Bible School and a reporter showed up. This was the day that the cell phones were ringing constantly and many started to cancel future meetings. I was told they wanted to take away our passports and put us in prison even to beat us. I told Ruth and Anne and all those present to start praying in the Spirit. Then about two hours later the cell phones started again only this time with Pastors calling and rallying behind the 'women' who came to bless India! Thank you so much for every individual and congregation that lifted us up in prayer! We needed your prayers and we had them! India is mostly Muslim and Hindu country. According to the Voice of The Martyrs they are in the red zone as being intolerant to Christians. Your prayers covered us. Ruth Vasu is staying on for another four or five months, God willing. The mission is to take the State of Andhra Pradesh for the Kingdom of God. Pray for her to have success and protection in the mission God sent her to do. We found out that so many have no jobs to support their families yet they do everything they can to help one another. That's the way it is. Bible Students walk for many hours just to preach the Gospel. They stay at villages over night to see many souls saved. It made me feel like I was living at the time of Peter and Paul. Would you like to accompany them? They welcome you. We have learned that we can start a Chicken Farm and Brick 'Factory' that will employ about 36 - 40 people. When we do this the employees have promised to volunteer their first month of service to put the business in the black. What will this take? The Chicken Farm will need $10,000. The Brick Farm will need approximately $7,000. The wonderful thing about this is that the people want to support the Kingdom work. One sister works for the government two days per month passing out pensions to the widows and disabled. She walks from village to village and for this she is paid $5 total. She volunteers her time teaching at the Bible School. Some people only make $44 a month while others who are more educated make almost $500 a month. We believe everyone would like to help in some way. No one can do it alone, but together, with the blessing of our Almighty God and Father; we can and will make a difference and accomplish much.
