The Disciple Peter (Simon Peter)
The Disciple Peter(AKA Simon Peter) was the son of Zebedee and Salome and the brother of James, another of the Twelve Disciples. Simon was called "Rock" (Peter)by Jesus. Peter was the leader of the Disciples, after Jesus'ascension. Peter was a married fisherman who worked with his brother Andrew in Capernaum, fishing in the Sea of Galilee.
The Disciple Andrew
The Disciple Andrew was Simon Peter's brother. Before Andrew met Jesus, he had been adisciple of John the Baptist and he introduced Peter to Jesus.
