Friends of  Missions of Christ...

Dear Friend,

Oh, what a report from India. Under the direction of Rev Ruth Vasu and Christians For Christ I had the joy of going to India and minister to literally thousands. We took the Bread of Life -Jesus Christ- to the people of India while Richard was at the camp keeping the home fires burning.

There was only one day in which we were being protected from going out to the people and possibly being in danger. That was the day we actually were in the newspaper with a comment that said..."They came to preach the Gospel." Though we did do that very thing we were there as tourists and we were only going to speak at the Bible School and partnering Churches. This particular Church was out side the fellowship of the Bible School and a reporter showed up. The cell phones the next day were ringing constantly and many started to cancel future meetings. Then about two hours later after praying in the spirit the cell phones started again only this time with Pastors calling and rallying behind the 'women' who came to bless India!

We needed your prayers and we had them! Thank you so much. India is mostly Muslim and Hindu country. According to the Voice of The Martyrs they are in the red zone as being intolerant to Christians. We really NEEDED your prayers to cover us. Rev Ruth Vasu,  Pastor Ruth and Ann Arra all want to say thank you for keeping us lifted up.

Ruth Vasu is staying on for another four or five months, God willing. The mission is to take the State of Andhra Predesh for the Kingdom of God. She is meeting with many to mark which areas are being covered and which are not. Then Bible Students will be assigned to go therefore.

We visited the churches in the area, had mini crusades of evangelism and taught in the newly opened Bible School. We went house to house and prayed for many people, watching those who did not serve our God turn and confess Jesus as Lord. We counted in two weeks 67 new souls for Christ, about 120 gave their total allegiance to Jesus Christ and the healings that took place, well some just made me cry for the joy that was shared. Typhoid fever, blind eyes to see, legs and backs healed, headaches gone and marriages restored. WOW - to be a part of it all was so overwhelming. We truly are CO-LABORERS with God.

We prayed for the ladies in the leper colony and were humbled to hear they were all believers in Christ and their house was The House of prayer for all their village. Many would go to them for their prayer requests. How marvelous and great is our God?

We found out that so many have no jobs to support their families yet they do everything they can to help one another. That's the way it is. Bible Students walk for hours just to preach the Gospel. They stay at villages over night to see many souls saved. It made me feel like I was living at the time of Peter and Paul.

We have learned that we can start a Chicken Farm and Brick 'Factory' that will employ about 36 - 40 people. When we do this the employees have promised to volunteer their first month of service to put the business in the black. What will this take? The Chicken Farm will need $10,000 start up. The Brick Farm will need approximately $7,000. The wonderful thing about this is that the people want to support the Kingdom work. One sister works for the government two days per month passing out pensions to the widows and disabled. She walks from village to village and for this she is paid $5 total. Now you may think, how cheap but it does pay her electric bill.  Some people only make $44 a month while others who are more educated make almost $500 a month.

We believe everyone would like to help in some way. No one can do it alone, but together, with the blessing of our Almighty God and Father and your help, we can and will make a difference and accomplish a lot. If YOU would like to help India, please send your donation to COGL at the above address.

God bless all that you do in His service as we work together for the Good of His Kingdom. I look forward to bringing you more good news of what God is doing in INDIA!

In His service with you,

Rev Dr Ruth Plante

Grandma goes to India

Grandma goes to IndiaI am going to be leaving for India in two weeks and I am so eager tomeet the people whom I have read about for so long. I am arriving inBangalore and will be staying for four weeks. I am so excited to seeIndia. I love the people and the food and the dress! The buildings aredone with such class and design that everyone who sees them can admirethe beauty in the care given to construct them. When I lived in NewJersey I was first introduced to these wonderful people.

Many I had as students when I was a driving instructor. Oh, did theyspoil me. I had the most wonderful time with them at the dinner table. They would cook for me foods I could eat because I just couldn't takeall that HOT stuff. Beautiful garments made so delicate and soft. Thesepeople wove themselves into my heart. Little did I know that one day Iwould be in THEIR country. How my heart is thrilled.

India is fast becoming another home to me as has China, Uganda, Ghana,Guyana, Nepal, Phillipines and Mexico and soon Liberia, West Africa.Though I have never left this country before, I have lived with theChinese in New Jersey, communicated for years with many of thesewonderful places via the internet and made wonderful friends. I am sohappy to meet so many of God's Children and hold them in my arms to hugthem for our wonderful Father in heaven. I have traveled 45 of the 50states of America and hugged many and spoke to them of the love of God.Now He has opened a door for me I never expected, to Him be all theglory. A dear sweet friend has offered to pay my way to go therefore!Oh, the joy unspeakable and full of Glory. No one can imagine what isgoing on in my heart. I am privileged to be among the many who havegone before me. Now God is letting me go.

Pray for me, my friends. This feeling that is welling up inside of mewould make me burst if I were but a mere balloon. Yet again, I amhumbled when I think that, who am I, that He would let me go? Let mekeep the balance though I need to be the light to shine and in humilityso as never to take any glory from the one to whom it truly belongs.

If I could just look into the eyes of the people and they could seeJesus in me, my pleasure would be that they would immediately confessJesus as Lord so to make another disciple for Him.

The time is short my family, He is coming soon. We must make ready ourhearts and ready our homes and especially make ready the people of God.Like John the Baptist we must - Prepare the Way!

I cannot wait to spend hours with all the families. To sit and talk ofHis love for them and to share all the wonderful expressions of Hislove that He has put into me to give out so freely. India also belongsto God. Liberia, West Africa belongs to God, Mexico belongs to God (ohdid I love my mission trip to Mexico)and we know America belongs toGod. (I love this land that I was born in and pray for her always.) Infact when you get right down to it 'the earth is His footstool' It allbelongs to Him. Most people just don't know it, that's all!

Mat 28:16-20 "Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into amountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, theyworshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go yetherefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of theFather, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observeall things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with youalway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Dear Family of God

A New Mission Trip to Announce

We are happy to tell you that the ‘Bread Lady of Tulsa’ is going to India under Rev Ruth Vasu and Christians For Christ. Yes, Pastor Ruth is taking the Bread of Life -Jesus Christ- to the people of India and Richard will be at the camp keeping the home fires burning.

You can imagine the serious cost of running such a mission not just in finances but also safety. We need your prayers. India is mostly Hindu so we really NEED your prayers to cover us; Pastor Ruth, Rev Ruth Vasu and Ann Arra while we go therefore! We are leaving about the end of January then, God willing, Ann and I will return about the end of February.

Ruth Vasu will stay on for another four months. Our mission is to take the State of Andhra Predesh for the Kingdom of God, to visit the churches in the area, to organize a week of evangelism and to teach in the newly opened Bible School.

We have learned from Pastor Ernie Martin, at this same time, Lewis Ave International Missions has sponsored 10,000 “Gusty” Salvation tracts to come off the printing press in India and are available for us to use for the people of the Talugu language. God is so good and His timing is perfect. Thanks to them we have what we need to get them into the hands of the people. Please pray for Lewis Avenue International Missions as well!

We believe everyone would like to help in some way. No one can do it alone, but together, with the blessing of our Almighty God and Father and your help, we can and will make a difference and accomplish a lot. If YOU would like to help with this mission trip please send your donation to COGL at the above address.

God bless all that you do in His service as we work together for the Good of His Kingdom. I look forward to telling you all about it when I return!

In His service with you,

Rev Dr Ruth Plante

Director
